Happpy Wednesday . . .

Journey

This is a large 8 x 10 collage using a face from kumareboo.etsy.com, a body from the Library of Congress, wings from greatmusings.com, and headpiece made from digitally layering a compass from designer Lorie Davison at Studio Lorie at Scrapbookgraphics.com. The blue frame, the text box frame, the suitcases, round boxes, and background are also from Lorie Davison. The background was made cutting apart by hand two copies of one background and gluing them together, with the sun and compass added digitally. The sun is from designer Lauren Bavin of Digital Scrapbook Place and the compass is from Lorie Davison. The jar is from designer Chelsea Parsons of Two Peas in a Bucket but was filled with hearts from designer Nicole Young of Digital Scrapbook Place. The other hearts are also
from Nicole Young. All designer pieces were purchased with a commercial license. The checked border is from Crowabout.etsy.com and was hand colored. Everything, including the borders and jar, were printed, hand trimmed, and most were hand colored to some degree with ink and pastel.

Don't forget about the Blogversary celebration we're havin' here!
Comment this post (click on the words "this post") and you could win one of several prizes. So far the prize list includes the print on the original Blogversary post (the one you should comment) and a print of Pandora's Keeper. Today, I'm adding to the prize pile a bag of vintage ephemera!

I really LOVE this piece! But for some reason, I love numbers on things. The Clock dials are wonderful!!!!!!

And the framing inside the piece is really nice....great job, as always....

Your Friend in ART,
Linda
