Just a little ATC

I owe my friend Kate an ATC and a larger fish piece. I am still working on putting together a fish piece - you'd think it would be easy for me since I love them so much, but it is actually a bit harder. And Kate's piece for me is so dang good and clever. I don't know yet exactly what I'm going to do yet. I am researching images right now.

Fairy Window ATC

copyright by Marsha Jorgensen 5/8/09
This is an ATC collage using a face from kumareeboo.etsy.com and a flower crown from spiceitup.etsy.com and arranged inside a window from flickr's Just.N8. The face, skin, crown, and hair were further hand-colored to pop a bit more than the original pictures.

I may still add something to the bottom of this piece. Have to find the right thing. We'll see. I have a feeling I'll be posting and visiting a lot this weekend but since it's Friday here, I'll wish you all a Happy Weekend now!

Happy Weekend to you too Marsha! Were your ears burning this morning? I took my collage you made me and the postcards to work to show the girls and they went wild over them!(rightfully so)

Where else but in blogland could we find a comment like "I owe my friend a fish piece"? It gave me a chuckle to start off the day (as it is Saturday mid-morning here in Oz).
Your ATC is superb. No-one but you can achieve those stunning, rich colours. Fantastic. Huge applause.

Oooooh that is a real beauty - I can't believe that it is is coming my way :-))))Thank you so much - I'm very much looking forward to seeing a piece of your art for real. Such beautiful use of colour and I LOVE colour! Don't get hung up about the fish piece. Really, I don't mind waiting at all and remember we are doing this FOR FUN!! Anyway, I haven't quite had the time to post yours yet....

Reciprocating art can be hard-- I am a perfectionist and am afraid to send out something I don't like (which means I can agonize over something unnecessarily!)

I love your ATC... add the word "indecision" to the bottom. It will speak volumes and the image looks appropriate to the sentiment!

hee hee. Just my two cents.

Marsha I am so sorry you are feeling bad. If I were there I would give you a big hug and a cup of Chamomile Vanilla tea with just a touch of lemon and honey:)
I do hope this sill head cold finds its way elsewhere soon!

I love this ATC sunshine peeking through the window that is what she reminds me of. Bright and beautiful!

Also thank you for the Sweet Birthday Wishes. They are felt and held close to my heart.
