ThanksGiving . . .
I didn't have time as I had hoped to prepare a special Thanksgiving treat for you. Things have been a little crazy here. We've had some unusual stresses in our family recently and then to top things off, my husband was in the hospital all last weekend after having a mini-stroke or TIA on Friday. He is doing fine, no permanent damage, but a bit of a mortality and reality check for us. My family and I have so many blessings to be thankful for and we are, but I want you to know I am particularly thankful for all of my art, blog, and customer friends. Your support all along my journey has been one of the best, most precious gifts of my life. So, I am thankful for ALL OF YOU! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Anther humungous 40% off sale . . .
Not to be missed, Deviant Scrap is having another giant sale! Most designers, including me, are offering 40% off most kits (excluding new releases). It won't be happening again for quite some time so if you missed the last big sale, here's one more chance to stock up! (picture below linked to my shoppe) I just put all the sale prices up tonight and the sale ends Sunday at midnight.

While you're shopping at Deviant Scrap this weekend, you might be interested in this very special swap we are having . . . a cookie recipe exchange. More details can be found by following the linked picture below, but participants will email me their cookie recipes decorated in whatever tradition or theme they wish. At the end of the swap, participants will be given a special download code to download all of the recipe cards from all the other participants gathered in a handy digital kit. (no mailing necessary)

I know some of you hate seeing it too early, but I've been bitten by the Christmas bug! Actually, I think I've been stifling the urge to Christmas-tize things for about a month now. To show off my new Christmas kits, here are a couple of new pieces . . .

Happy Christmas

I'm thankful that even in the hardest of times I have my art. Art is my therapy, my heart, my soul. I can escape the daily troubles and create, always. That is a gift and I never take it for granted!

I am thankful for the ability to paint during a very painful, life-changing time in my life.
I didn't think I could do anything anymore, but painting is keeping me sane.

Thank you for the great artist you are and your collage sheets so I can work with them and make beautiful ART! x

Ditto to Audrey's comment but I'm also thankful for finding a medium that suits my somewhat wacky personality and odd sense of humour. As well, I'm thankful for the kindness and encouragement from members of Deviant Scrap - a great group of "gals" that's for sure.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful and peaceful thanksgiving Marsha x
I am thankful for my work - this time last year I was unemployed for 3 months - very little time in comparison to others I know and I found it difficult to adjust to, but thankfully it wasn't for too long. Sometimes you need a curve ball to make you realise how fortunate you really are.

Dear Marsha,
I'm glad your husband is doing better. What a blessing!

I'm thankful that my family and friends all seems to be happy and healthy right now.

I'm thankful that my Dad is now cancer free after a nine weeks of daily radiation treatments this last summer and that my Mom is my Mom. I could not ask for a better Mother.

I have a lot to be thankful for. I guess tonight we'll all go to bed counting our blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful for having a husband that understands my need for creativity, who takes the wee one so I can create in peace as needed.

I'm also thankful for having the supplies that I have and the time to create, especially during down times when I need a little art therapy to get my mind right.
