A real Monday . . .

Finally, Christmas break is over! Everyone is back at school and work for the first time in 3 weeks and I celebrated the quiet house with a quickie digital piece this morning.

I am anxious to truly get back to work and routine this week. Soccer games, errands, cleaning, appointments, real life stuff, normal stuff to do again. Hope you all have a great week!

Happy back-to-work-week Marsha! I, on the other hand, have decided I don't like work anymore and am taking a very looonnnnnnggg break! I have decided I don't really mind being poor and the bills can wait and eating pantry food for a few weeks isn't that bad! So keep 'em coming and think of me!

This is wonderful Marsha - the colors are very vintage appearing to my eye - NEATO!

I've had a long visit with you just now...well long as in I drooled at your wonderful art and READ through your list of things you want to work on. Unfortunately, I hate to tell you - you missed one.....stop being so hard on yourself! Lazy? Get out of town... I still recall the days and days you experienced with little or no sleep during your father's final weeks. That' just for starters. The rest I may have to save for a phone call.
Promise me one thing - you'll still be the woman I've come to consider a close friend.

I have two things this year 1) do one thing I don't want to do each day and 2) take at least one photo every day outside...hopefully that'll also help exercising to creep back into my resistance to sweating!!! :0)

Big ocean sized hugs,
t

Hi there Marsha, Happy New Year to you. I've been meaning to e-mail you or post a comment on your blog congratulating you on all your work in that past Somerset Studio. I love seeing your work, it never ceases to inspire me greatly. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and I hope you had a good and safe New Years. I've been sort of out of commission for a few months, I haven't even posted on my blog since Halloween if you can believe that? Tremendous amount of guilt over that. Sometimes my arthritis catches up with me and I have to take a creative break even though I hate it. At any rate, sorry to ramble on and on, I just wanted to say hello, Happy New Years and give you many kudos on all your published pieces.

Take care, Shannon Sawyer from "SaturdayVille"

lol...like they say a picture is worth a thousand words! I love this. Holidays are fun but thankfully there are only so many in a year, right.? So today I hope you have a peaceful day and then all of the normal hullabaloo when the kids are out of school. Normalcy to each of us is different but we need it. Hugs and stay warm!
