It's Taco Tuesday . . .

That's right. Here in Eagle Rock you can go to Ernie's Taco House for $1 Tacos. That has nothing to do with the art piece below but it's what I have on my mind at the moment. Yeah, I'm not making a lot of sense - I have blogbrain. I visited over 130 blogs yesterday! Talk about head spinning. Oh my! Inspiration galore. It was really fun but I think I am definitely over stimulated (and really hungry for tacos for some reason)

The piece below is for Nancy Baumiller's flickr Collage Play with Crowabout challenge this week.

Little Sense

This is a 5 x 7 collage using legs and arms from my own vintage postcard and a fish from keeperofthenest.etsy.com. All other surface pieces are from Nancy Baumiller's flickr Collage Play with Crowabout and a special thanks to flickr's artchicapoo (Jade Adams) for some great pieces too. These pieces were reprinted, hand trimmed with scissors and hand colored with ink and pastel. They were attached to a background made with a floor from flickr's 'Playingwithbrushes' and a sky from flickr's JoesSistah.

I am still sorting pictures and have several deadlines to meet in the next couple of weeks. (Don't forget about Somerset's Aubergine challenge due the 15th!) So I may bury my head in the proverbial sand again and hunker down and focus on work a couple of days.

Just found out one of my pieces is being featured on Angie's Junkgarden blog! If you haven't been to this blog you must go, even if you don't want to see me there! It is full of eye candy and groovy vintage wonderfulness!

Tacos sound great. But we are having salad. I know how you feel about catching up with blogs, my mind is a little over loaded also. I love the colors in your latest collage, they are right up my ally.

Love the collage; thanks for all the info in the email earlier too. You are a genuine sweetheart :-)

Tacos sound great but I'm being 'good' and trying to stay on track with my weight loss so tacos will have to wait a while haha

Keep up the great work; you are so inspiring!!

I love tacos!!! Send me some! And I think August is ALL about hunkering down and getting work done. If we don't, we are gonna blink and school stuff kicks in, and then Halloween, and POOF Christmas! Man, I'd better get with it. :) love to you - Pam

I want $1.00 tacos! My blog today is on food as well. I may go get a bowl of ice cream right now.

It's nice when things don't always make sense and are predictable. Love it.

Love his suit ! Makes sense to me - nonsense ! Perfect !

Know what you mean about keeping up in Blogland - some days it is just too much of a good thing - and yes, there is such thing. That's when I force myself to walk away, leave what I have seen in my memory, and go an play with my own stuff for a while. The hardest part for me is always not comparing myself, or my creations to anyone else's... working on that all the time !
Head in the sand can be a fine place to be...just remember to leave yourself lots of air holes ! ;)
Higs and have a good play time !

Ummmm, tacos. LOL!! Now 'I' am thinking about tacos! And it's not even 10:00. Marsha!:)

Your piece is so great. You know I love that egg:) How on earth did you get to 130 blogs in a day? My brain would explode! I am right there with Kim, "The hardest part for me is always not comparing myself, or my creations to anyone else's..." It amazes me all the wonderfully wonderful wonderfulness that's out there and it gets overwhelming. Isn't Blogland grand? Love You! Jamie
