Fun on a snowy day

It's been a long time since this California girl of the last 20 years has played in the snow. It started snowing about 4 hours ago here (in Missouri where I will be a couple of more days). And I'd say there's about 3-4inches on the ground now. I couldn't resist making a snowlady.

(that's me showing off my creation)

(my dad's house)

(I can't believe I'm letting you all see me look so awful, no make up or hair done, such a slob, but I wasn't planning on posing for pix today. I am not photogenic anyway so even if I was looking my best, it would still be an awful picture. Anyway, here I am with my dad and then in the next picture is my dad and his wife, Neva. He looks pretty good for all he's been through!)

Have a good weekend!

I'm in Missouri, too, and with all the snow, this is a no makeup, "slob" kind of day! Three inches of snow always equals this! I've been lurking on your blog for a while--since I saw it on Suzanne Buckner's. I love it and the work you do!

You look lovely! And I'm glad someone is enjoying the snow ... it didn't go over too well at my house.

I'm so glad your dad is doing well. He looks great ... he has the darling sort of smile that makes me think he is up to something.

Take care!

Okie, you know what's hilarious about your snowman pictorial, is I thought it was gonna be huge. For some reason in the first photo I was thinking your standard 8 and a half foot tall snowman height and then Bam, an itty bitty one. Awww, an itsy bitsy snowman, very COOL! Though come to think of it, how off is my guesstimate measures, that carrot would have to be like 6 inches wide for it to be an 8 and a half foot tall snowman...hmm...
It's been ages since I felt snow and crazily enough it was in the desert on the way home from Las Vegas, desert snow just seems so wrong. So very wrong.
Glad to see the big smiles in the photos, your Dad looks amazing, can't believe he had such major surgery and is smiling for photos!
Okie, enough babbling. :)

Love her eyelashes! It doesn't snow here very often at all. If fact, I STILL haven't had to turn on our heater. I am NOT looking forward to summer. Yuck!

Your Dad looks fabulous and so do you! I am really thrilled that he has done so well and is recovering so nicely. I know it must be such a relief to be done with phase one. Your snowlady is precious!! I am jealous that you are enjoying the snow. I want snow here! Pout. I can't wait until you are home safe and sound! Love, Jamie
