Feeling better today. I think I just needed to tuck myself away (as much as possible) and make some art. It was a bit difficult to make the last two pieces. I'm rather rusty which shows me I need to exercise the muses more. Making art is my most favorite part of life and I need it like sleep and water and I deprive myself of it way too often.

Thank you so much for your kind words in the post comments.
I get a little teary eyed reading through the love you all send me. If only you knew how much I loved you right back.

I am keeping the shop closed just a tiny bit longer until I feel a little more refreshed. Have some art I want to make still and Christmas stuff to do. Teaching kids' art this afternoon.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! Don't let the humbugs get you down!

you may feel rusty but it certainly doesn't show! I wonder if it has more to do with recent circumstances... sometimes our hearts can be a bit tarnished but love always prevails!

Hello Marsha ~
I hope you get a whole lot of time to create and heal. Your new freaky piece reminds me of the line in The Family Stone when Ben Wilson's character tells SJP's character we all have our freak flag.
So I so totally love the creation. You had me at the top hat. Wishing you a season of peace friend. Blessings,
Katie

I have been so tardy with leaving comments lately and I am a little late in leaving one for you - sorry. I hope things aren't as overwhelming as a few days ago Marsha, I hate to hear that you are sad but I know how you feel. Things can only get better, honestly. We all need and have down days - days when nothing seem to go as planned and what you hoped they would be. But it's good to see that you are back doing what you love doing - creating. And oh my word, how good you are at it!! Wishing you a very joyous holiday season Marsha and I will be thinking of you. Anji
