This is a 5 x 7 collage using a face from flickr's Suzee Que, a body from keeperofthenest.etsy.com, wings from Itkupilli.etsy.com, shoes scanned from a catalog and altered, and a hat from the Library of Congress. These pieces were reprinted, hand trimmed with scissors, and hand colored. The sign was made with a frame from designer Lorie Davison at Studio Lorie at Scrapbookgraphics.com and the letters were taken from various scanned ephemera. The checked border is from Crowabout.etsy.com and the floor, the corrugated trims and striped curtains are from designer Lauren Bavin of Digital Scrapbook Place. The rest of the background is from flickr's SkeletalMess. Designer pieces were used with a commercial license.
Here's a cool place to visit often . . . Just Something I Made
(click on Just Something I Made to go to the site) Here's an image from her work. If you click the image you can see it in action! I thought it was appropriate to celebrate my new vacuum. I actually like vacuuming and seeing all the stuff I pick up now. Kinda went from grossed out to "wow, what else is in there?". I think I might vacuum like a hundred times as I am obsessed with it. I've told you before, such an exciting life I lead. I really WOULD rather be and should be blogging though. I'm working on it tonight - flickr commenting first. I'll be by soon!
