What a relief! I was starting to worry that nothing would ever be made by me again! I just couldn't even hold the scissors let alone think of something to cut. It has been almost a month since I've made anything at all! But today, I did get something made. I'm not really happy with the background and you should know there's nothing wrong with your eyes or monitor - I made her face green on purpose though it might look more like a mistake. Anyway, flaws and all something was made and I feel much better. Thanks again for all of your encouragment and support my favorite blog buddies. You helped more than you know.

5 x 7 collage using a few vintage images reprinted, carefully trimmed, and handcolored, miscelaneous scraps, bird from lisasalteredart.etsy.com, and wings used with a license agreement with Butterfly Utopia, all on a watercolored and rubber stamped background with ribbon and scrap trim.
Another big fat thank you needs to be given. I'm embarrassed (but also jumping up and down with pure joy) to admit it but I won another One World One Heart giveaway prize and it is beautiful. This one comes from the very talented Marilyn Radzat, a well known, published, and accomplished doll artist whose work is beautiful beyond words. Please go see her blog (where you can also read how she recently found herself in the midst of a bank robbery no less! and her "Prince stopped his heart" for her on Valentine's) http://wwwmarilynradzat.blogspot.com/ and many links to her work. I cannot tell you how honored I am to receive a piece of her work. Here are some little peeks at all the very cool swag I got (a exquisitely sculpted face with antique netting, a page from an 1880's French journal, an antique and scrumptiously rusty key, a piece of vintage beaded lace, and other old and lovely trinkets)
Thank you, Marilyn, from the bottom of my heart for your generous gift. My prayers continue for you and your Prince! The rest of you really, really need to go look at her work. It is stunning!

Here is where you must imagine THE girliest squeal, like room full of puppies and chocolates sort of squeal.
You won something, anything by Marilyn Radzat?? SO COOL, woman, SO cool!!! ;)
Also I love a green faced gal, gives her an other worldly sort of feel. That not quite human skin tone that fairies and all the like have, ya know? :)

Lucky, lucky. YOU! Can't think of anyone more deserving of wonderful things! It's so good to hear the "smile" in your voice! Just paid a quick visit to Marilyn's blog and will visit again. Luscious stuff!
Hmmmm . . . a little "Green Goddess"! Very interesting!!! (Maybe she was kissed and enchanted by a frog prince!) It's good to see you back at work! Hugs, Terri :)

I think you have pizzazz in your artwork. It speaks of energy and exuberance and I'm always attracted to it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your art journey with us. I had one of those months that I made NOTHING too and like you thought I had completely dried up creativity-wise. Congratulations on being a big winner on OWOH....well deserved indeed. Sure appreciate your absolutely wonderful comments on my blog.
Ahhh lucky girl!!!
I was fortunate enought to get to touch one of her pieces that she donated to the RED Party! To beautiful for words! It's the unbrella sculpture that is one her blog! It was too die for.
Once again...lovin you art!
