I just worked on some little pieces for a couple of swaps I'm in. It was fun not to worry about making something to sell, just for fun.

My Etsy work is slim pickin's though. I need to get some work done for that. But, lo and behold, the next few days are busy ones. Tomorrow I teach my last ATC class this year for the kids at the nearby school I volunteer at (and I haven't figured out what we're doing yet of course). I also have to go to the grocery and make some salads and put together a costume for my very good friend's 1940's themed 40th birthday party which I'm helping to decorate for on Saturday. Then we have the party Saturday night and I will miss half of my daughter's soccer tournament which I will see the other half on Sunday. Lot's goin' on if you don't see me. May try to finish a couple of more things and post tonight or in the morning.

Those matchboxes are AWESOME. I love matchboxes, I have mine saved up but have rarely crafted with them but sometimes I take them out and look at them and promise them they can be made into something someday! We were driving through the desert the last couple days, to Laughlin and back and so I did not stalk you back as much but now I'm baccccccccccccccccckkkkkkk...muaaah ahh ahh. ;)
A 1940's themed party sounds like a LOT of fun, y'all should turn a doorway of the party place into a time machine and make people walk through it and be magically transported to the *1940's*, or even better if you just actually have a real authentic working time machine you could all just actually go to the 1940's.
If it's the latter you choose, can I borrow said time machine? There's this pre-cal test I totally choked on in the 11th grade and it would be so sweet to go back and do a do-over and totally ace the test instead of getting a 33%.
LOVE the new work. Looks like you had a lot of fun! The inchies are great BUT I REALLY love the matchboxes!!!! Beautiful....
I made some necklaces out of decorated matchboxes a few years ago and these would make GREAT necklaces.
Have fun with all the stuff!

The inchies and matchbox's are so precious!!! Colorful little treasures!! I love Bee Fairy too! How beautiful she is.
I think I need to go lay back down, because you are WEARING me out woman!! I don't know how you do it all, and do it all with such elegance! Have a blast at the party...I'm still laughing at TACE and the TIME MACHINE!! I'll borrow it after her to go back and correct a few things....no doubt your costume will be elegant too!
Hope yall have a great time.

Got back late last night, and was all rested and relaxed. So . . . this morning I've got my cup of coffee and can't wait to open your blog to catch up. HOLY COW and a BIG WOW! Your creative whirlwind has exhausted me, and I think I need another getaway!!!
The inchies are super, but I have to agree with Cathy . . . the necklaces are spectacular!!! Lucky kids, too, to have you as a teacher. And a 40's party!!!!! TOO much fun!
Am SO happy that you're taking time to "play"! Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo
PS - I'll send you a FLICKR later today. OMG, Marsha! I LOVE "Centered"!!!!!!
