Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

I have been running around, like everyone else I guess, finishing up what needs to be finished before tomorrow. I've made several collages but they are TOP SECRET and I cannot post them yet - gifts for family and friends who just might stop by here before they open their presents.

Today only has a few chores to do. I try to get most everything done by Christmas Eve except for helping Santa with stockings tonight. (and of course cooking all day tomorrow). On the 24th, I try to keep it simple, sleep in a little late, watch movies with the kids, play games, bake a little, pig out on party food and make more party food for tomorrow, enjoy the lights and decorations, and watch the kids inspect their presents (yes, my older kids still do that). We have a tradition of getting burgers from a local diner on Christmas Eve - no cooking, just relaxing. Christmas Day is always a marathon and then it's all over. So, today is my favorite part of Christmas.

Anyway, I'll be thinking of all of you today and tomorrow and hoping Santa brings you wealth, good health, and all good things for the next year. I hope you get everything your heart desires including contentment with what you already have in your life. I'll probably be blog hopping a bit on and off today with personal messages too. Wishing you the best!

Merry Christmas, Marsha! I hope you and your family are having a wonderful day. Your Christmas Eve day sounds perfect--relaxing and enjoyable! Burgers from the diner sounded really great too. We have a tradition of doing nachos--guess it's that whole red/green/white thing. :)
